NFPA 30-A Automotive and Marine Service Station Code (9-1.2.1)At any installation where the normal flow of product may be stopped other than by the hose nozzle valve, such as at pre-pay stations, the system shall include listed equipment with the feature that causes or requires the closing of the hose nozzle valve before product flowcan be resumed, or before the hose nozzle valve can be replaced in its normal position in the dispenser; or the nozzle valve shall not be equipped with a latch-open device. WarningDo not use TD20-Diesel nozzles with a hold-open device at installations (such as pre-pay and card readers) where the normal flow of product may be stopped or started by means other than with the hose nozzle valve. Failure to comply is a violation of NFPA Code 30-A, and may create a hazardous condition. Use of foreign objects to hold open automatic nozzles could result in shut-off failure and personal injury. |
The TD20-Diesel Series automatic nozzles are premium conventional nozzles for safe retail and commercial petroleum filling. The TD20-Diesel Series is designed for use in retail and commercial filling applications including prepay, self and full service, credit/debit card readers or card-lock systems to help prevent gasoline spills.
