Morrison Bros. Co. 178 Series Threaded Style Fill Cap
178 Series Spec SheetDesigned for tank filling applications where a tight fill connection is not required. Adaptor permanently threads onto riser pipe of fill nipple, cap threads onto adaptor.
Application:The 178 series tight seal threaded style fill cap is used for the fill port of small storage tanks. It is lockable with a padlock. The 178 iron caps are powder coated for a more durable finish.
The 178DT is made for a drop tube with 2" straight pipe threads and Buna-N gasket. The 178GSP is labeled Gauge Stick Port.

- Vapor tight when properly secured
- Body: Brass (BB), or cast iron (IB) (powder coated black)
- Cap: Brass (BC), or cast iron (IC) (powder coated black)
- Gasket: Buna-N
