A.Y. McDonald pressure tanks are designed for a wide range of applications. Including hydro-pneumatic systems, booster systems, irrigation systems, and reduction of water hammer effects. The tanks are made of steel, have an internal lining of polypropylene and a chlorobutyl membrane. The membrane is fixed to the tank wall by a steel ring. A bronze air valve is sealed with a plug and an O-ring that prevents air from escaping. The external coating of the tanks is polyurethane paint on an epoxy base and provides hundreds of hours of protection against UV rays.- Fixed butyl membrane
