8600SW Series

A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. 8600SW Series centrifugal pumps are ideal for a wide range of applications from lawn sprinkling, garden irrigation, pool filling and draining, cooling towers, and other water transfer applications. 8600SW Series pumps are suitable for installations where the vertical distance from the pump to water level does not exceed 20 feet, including friction losses in the suction pipe. Pumps require use of check valves and/or dependable foot valves may also be used to maintain the prime after initial filling of the pump. 1/2"through 1 HP single phase motors are square flange construction with high service factor ratings for continuous operation. Housing is cast iron. Impellers of your choice - engineered plastic or bronze. Diffusers are made of engineered plastic.

The 8600SW Series has a self-priming under normal conditions and requires no maintenance. A time proven 5/8" mechanical seal, it has capacities to 65 GPM. Pressures to 40 PSI/ 92 feet head, the series is for shallow wells, lakes, streams or booster systems.
